Guest guest
I was on zhang allicin and rest of lyme protocol for 7 months with no improvement. Guest guest
Don't know anything about the Alimax nutraceuticals but we have two patients on Naltrexone 4.5 mg for the lymes. They rated the extent of their disease before starting the naltrexone and after they had been on it monthly. He originally started, with a maximum score of 5, at 2.75. After 3 months the score was 0.12, indicating a great improvement in the symptoms. Guest guest
Hi Bren and others I called Walton, the pres of Nutraceuticals (his number is on the link you gave us). He was one of the sponsors of the trial, and said the trial used Allimax AC-23 capsules that are 450 mg each. They used 6 capsules a day for 3 months. The Allisure I was using were only 180 mg each and although Nutraceuticals makes them, they are a different formulation (the AC-23 are a stronger formulation). He said even if I took enough of the 180 mg caps a day to equal 2700 mg, it would not work the same. The only place you can buy them is from his company (my naturopath could get them from him also if I didn't want to buy direct). I would suggest anyone interested in doing this protocol should call his company to get specifics, otherwise buying any other allicin pills will not work the same. Guest guest
I have lyme and take 4.5 LDN daily since 2003. Originally took it for MS diagnosis which then I tested positive for lyme. LDN has done nothing for me for lyme. Just want to say we're all different. I still take it b/c it is supposed to regulate the immune system and possibly be a cancer preventative. Guest guest
I just visited the Allimax website and discovered an anomaly: The 180 mg AC-3 caps result in allicin costing $3.84 per gram. If I buy the 360 mg AC-3, the allicin costs $4.25 per gram. To treat myself for 90 days with 2.7 grams per day the cost is $933.75 using the 180 mg tablets. This rises to $1032.75 using the 360 mg tablets!!! Strange. Guest guest
Hi Victor I called Nutraceuticals back b/c like you I could only find info on 180 and 360 mg Allimax. Mr Walton told me they used 450mg Allimed in the trial. I was mistaken on the name of the product, it was Allimed that are 450 mg. He told me that I would have to get the Allimed AC-23 450mg directly from them, and the cost is $130 for a bottle of 60 tablets. In the study the used 6 capsules per day (2700 mg) for 3 months. It is quite costly. Guest guest
If you have lyme the LDN will help but not kill the lyme. lyme is a bacteria spirokeete and needs to be killed. Try the Marshall protocol.com. It cured my lyme. I'm looking into trying LDN for prevention , clean up and immune help. ________________________________ From: low dose naltrexone on behalf of arlizotte@... Guest guest
Lyme disease is caused by a spiral-shaped bacteria, usually transmitted by an infected tick, but also by other insects and human transmission as well. It causes inflammation of nerves and soft tissue. It's very important to learn about because it is spreading rapidly throughout the whole world, and everyone needs to learn how to protect themselves and their pets. You can read about it at www.lymenet.org as well as google info on it. -- RobinSee what's new at AOL.com and Make AOL Your Homepage.
