Dearest Helen,

There are other doctors that are more experienced with LDN and there are other ways of obtaining LDN. I will e-mail you privately in a moment. Take this as a challenge. Make sure to write down all of your symptoms and what you are experiencing. Then keep a diary of how things go while you are on LDN and make sure to keep your regular doctor appt.s and seen if they notice the changes you have with LDN. It is up to you if you wish to tell them you are taking it. But, do get it. LDN is the best thing going. Many good ground breaking ideas do not come easily and without resistance. This stuff is great for most people that take it. And for those that it does not work for, it does not hurt them to try it to see if it does. Please don't let them stop you from doing what is best for your own body.

My best

Aletha

[low dose naltrexone] I have to vent about this !

After trying to find a doc to prescribe my LDN , I eventualy went to my new pcp.My ms specialist had told me prior to this that he didnt feel confortable prescribing it, but if my pcp provided it that would be fine.So on friday 19th, I take my prescription to the compounding chemist here in my town elated to think at last I was getting my LDN.Today (tues) I recieve a call from the doctors office. The office manager tell me that my pcp has spoken to my specalist at Vanderbilt and he says not to prescribe it for me anymore and she's not going to ..Im furious, so furious..wouldnt you think a vanderbuilt specialist (being a teaching and experimental hospital) would like for me to go on it, and be able to monitor the effects of it ! Can they do this ?? can they give you a precription for something youve reasearched and chosen then take it back ?Any help on this especially from skip would be appreciated, you can contact by email Im still trying to find my way around this site and cant always find the messages I want to read, I dare say it will come in time but...helen.padgett ...any input appreciated, thanks in advance Helen ))hugz

You need to send your specialist a copy of the conference DVD when it

comes out, Dr. Milstone, a lung and heart transplant surgeon

there at Vanderbilt University is taking LDN for Crohn's. Have your

doctor speak to Milstone.

Hi Helen,

You can spare yourself a lot of trouble by either finding a doctor who

prescribes LDN or making it yourself.

A gal named Crystal maintains a list by location of physicians who prescribe LDN

and of pharmacies that compound it. You can contact her at

crystalangel6771@...

If that doesn't work out, you can buy 50 mg Naltrexone without a prescription

tablets here:

http://tinyurl.com/2vfdw5

and convert them to LDN using the instructions here:

http://tinyurl.com/3alm3y

For more information about LDN, visit

With best wishes,

Helen and other LDNers,

I recall that someone posted a message that a physician at Vanderbilt

is writing prescriptions for LDN. Personally, I think we all need to

be doing everything we can to convince physicians that prescribing

LDN is a good thing and not something bad. That said, if the person

who posted the info on the MD at Vanderbilt who DOES prescribe LDN,

please consider sending Helen a private email and let her ask THAT

doctor to talk to hers. Doctors seem to trust one another and if

Helens' doctor thinks its bad because of another MD's bad opinion

perhaps her mind will change upon hearing another MD's GOOD opinion.

Let's never give up hope that the truth will win out over ignorance.
