Guest guest
He is off dairy and wheat. He only eats chicken, potatos, rice and beans and some veges and fruits. Very limited diet. Thanks for your help and the link. Guest guest
He gets Candex for yeast and was on Diflucan for about 5 years. One thing though that is strange is that his ears, when I clean them with Q-tips, have a bad smell to them. Sometimes he has what looks like cottage cheese, very small amounts of it, coming out of his ears Doctors always say that this is fine and find no problems with his ears. Have any of you heard of this? [ ] Re: Mercury preservative in nasal sprays How is his yeast treatment? For some kids, removing milk eliminates this problem. For my son, improper fat digestion caused by mitochondrial issues was the problem. He developed this type of ear wax every time he ate anything with fat in it. Once I corrected his mito issue, this problem disappeared. http://www.danasview.net/mar05.htm Dana
Guest guest
Dana, Josh loves coated chicken or Fried chicken nuggets/strips. Full of fat. I limit this as much as possible, but he eats so few foods. Is there an enzyme or something to give them to help with fat digestion? I bet this is the problem. I never even thought of this. How did you help his mitochondrial issues with fat? Did a Dr. diagnose him with this, or did you just put the pieces together? Also, did this ear wax have a bad odor to it also? Thanks for your help.
