Guest guest
Pam, We have those same issues here. I am thinking they are viral/immune related, since we get nice bumps every time I run antivirals with him and when he is on astragalus. Guest guest
Anne, I'm going to restart olive leaf extract when we get back from Disney on the 10th. I gave OLE a measely effort this summer (I hit a supplement wall; got sick of it all). His titers do not show anything abnormal, but we have not tested for chicken pox, Hep or strep yet. Let's see what happens. Thanks. Pam > > > > Hi, > > > > I just returned from my son's required annual visit with his DAN! > > doctor (Usman). Guest guest
Pam, Do you have any immune system support in place? I have found that rather than run antivirals straight, we are faring better with underlying support in place. Currently my little guy is on colostrum, neutrophil plus, transfer factor, and rotating astragalus and echinacea each for a week a month. The echinacea doesn't seem to do squat, but the astragalus is very good. I also have lysine in place, since it is clear we have HHV6 issues, and hard core yeast protocol. We found that running Valtrex was good in many respects, but too taxing on his system right now. All that said, your kiddo might have a better immune system than my little guy.... Guest guest
Hi Pam, We have the HHV6 issue and would like to start Valtrex. Could you tell me exactly what you recommend be started/have in place first? I think his immune system is pretty good as far as colds and flus, but very elevated HHV6 Igg. I know you mention Lysine, anything else a *must* before starting the antiviral? Any advice is appreciated. Thank you, Millie > > > > > > > > Hi, > > > > > > > > I just returned from my son's required annual visit with his > > DAN! > > > > doctor (Usman). Guest guest
Hi Pam hi Guys/ Gals.been a while from last post but still reading daily. (miss ya all dearly). Anyway I did look into Phosphatidylcholine not to long ago but didn't pursue it as I was focussing more on chelation. But now am also interested for a few reasons. From what I gather it is good for liver support enzyme production as well as building cell membranes. I believe that it is 3 times more potent than lecithin in which it helps transport bile, acids and breaks down fat deposits in the body. All I can say is I have heard lot of good reports about Phosphaline, more recently the phosphatidylcholine from Xymogen, but we have not used it yet. There seems to be some promising results so If anyone else has info to share I would also appreciate his or her experience? I think a while ago Anita touched on this and am not sure if she is using it. It seems that other products are derived from soy , Does anyone know if this products is also soy based ? Thanks again for any further info As Always my best Kenny v > > Hi, > > I just returned from my son's required annual visit with his DAN! > doctor (Usman). Guest guest
Does anyone know if this brand has any soy in it? I just called the company and they couldn't answer the question. Maybe one of our parents out there is more knowledgeable. _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of anneecbrynn Sent: Wednesday, November 01, 2006 4:52 PM Subject: [ ] Re: Xymogen Phosphaline: anyone using something like this? Guest guest
Millie, Here is a list where Valtrex is talked about a lot: mb12 valtrex/. The recommendation there (and I would second it) is to have an Rx antifungal on board when you introduce Valtrex. In our case and many others, yeast was outrageous. There are lots of immune system support products you can use. You might look in the file. Our listmate, Anita, put together a viral file that is well worth a thorough read. And, if you do go the antiviral route, do your research and be ready for a roller coaster ride. We didn't see much bad from the Valtrex except yeast, but others get rashes, fevers, and other crazy things.... We did see good stuff. Right now we are using Colostrum, Lysine and Transfer Factor 560 instead of the Valtrex. The latter is supposedly engineered with HHV6 in mind. We have only been using it for a few days, but I do think it is helping. Again though, we have so many variables I often don't know exactly what to attribute to what. I am just happy if we are clearly going the right way and knowing that I am chelating with ALA according to Andy's schedule. We are also using astragalus and echinacea according to Andy's recommendations, which are in Anita's piece. I haven't seen much with the echinacea, but the astragalus is good here. Oh yes, and neutrophil plus is helping with the yeast here, I think. I put that in because our last blood work showed my son's neutrophils almost out of range low. In fact, today I think I saw my first signs that I am overdoing the yeast protocol. Never thought I would say that! Hope that helps. Guest guest
Hey Kenny, Actually I do use the phosphatidylcholine. I am using the phoschol from Nutrasal. Not sure I see anything from it, but have been reading Blaylock's book on excitotoxins and he recommends it too as a way of helping to deal with excitotoxin damage, so one more reason to keep it (aside from all the ones you listed).
