puffiness and redness to a good extent, not completely though.

Hi,

I'm Carla; not Haleh, Mandi or , but have been reading this

thread and thought I'd throw out another remedy that might be useful

for your son's puffy eyes. We use nettle capsules for my

daughter...we buy Eclectic Institute Stinging Nettle and give her 2

capsules with each meal during the day. This herb is believed to

block the production of histamines in the body (whereas most

anti-histamines operate by blocking the receptors for histamines). My

daughter is as sensitive as they come (when you can get a DAN! doc's

eyes to bug out, you know you're sensitive), but seems to tolerate

this supplement with no problem. (I doubt it's low oxalate, however,

if this is a concern for you.) In addition to the antihistamine

function, it seems to decrease anxiety for my daughter. I've read

that this can be one of its effects and am glad it frees my daughter

from some of the worries that used to plague her.

HTH,

Carla
