Guest guest
I just completed round 1 of chelation for my 5y.o. son. I'll start round 2 on Friday. After watching a video of Ethan's recovery using antivirals, antifungals, diet and supplements -- I felt I should consider using valtrex. I have some prescribed by his DAN but have held off because he is now chelating. Is it safe to introduce valtrex into the equation? What are the possible interactions / side effects? If I should hold off, how long should I wait and what am I waiting for? Thanking all in advance.
Guest guest
I don't know the answers to your questions, but I'm sure that someone on this list will. Here's a link to Ethan's dad's group mb12 valtrex/?yguid=260502182 > > I just completed round 1 of chelation for my 5y.o. son. Guest guest
Hi Abid, we used Valtrex for about 9 months, while we were chelating and with a doctor. We saw no negatives (we saw no positives either but that's another story, lol). I would say that it's safe to do both. But, perhaps you may avoid our mistake by not waiting that long to quit of you see no positives. Good luck. Beti > > I just completed round 1 of chelation for my 5y.o. son. Guest guest
I think its worth a try. Ethan's son and others have benefitted so I need to try. Thanks Beti. However, I would certainly not wait until the very end of chelation to consider an anti-viral, if your child has virus issues. Anti-virals caused much more noticeable improvement in my son than chelation did. I use Virastop enzyme and olive leaf extract. Watch for yeast overgrowth. Both chelation and anti-virals tend to increase yeast, anti-virals moreso than chelation for my kids. Dana
Guest guest
-Dana, I was wondering why antivirals cause yeast? Do they feed it or knock out the virus and the candida claims the gap?? Guest guest
Did any of your kids experience frequent urination with the addition of Virastop/OLE? Or is this yeast? Barb Re: [ ] Re: Chelation & Valtrex -- Can I do them SIMULTANEOUSLY? speaking for myself, antivirals caused major yeast for my son. but, all is well when i treat yeast aggressively. vicki sue_lwsn <sue@...> wrote: -Dana, I was wondering why antivirals cause yeast? Yeast for my kids, and viral " die off " does tend to increase yeast. Dana
