Guest guest
Dear I'm not Carolyn, but perhaps can help with some of your questions. One difference with chelating with agents like ALA and DMSA vs. chelating with cilantro and chlorella is that with ALA and DMSA the way they work is better understood. It is possible to use small, frequent doses of these chelators and be confident that you are keeping a reasonably level dose in the bloodstream, thereby minimizing the risk of redistribution, where metals are " dropped " as the chelator levels go down. Redistribution can move metals from fairly harmless spots in the body to areas where they can do real harm (ie the brain). With products like cilantro and chlorella, there seems to be consensus that they do SOMETHING with metals, but no one is sure exactly what, how, or how to control the process so that chelation doesn't do more harm than good. It can be risky. If you look to the left of the screen, you will see the " files " section link. If you click on that link, you will find link to FAQs and much more on Moria's site. She has compiled a number of posts of reports by people who have used chlorella and cilantro. Please read them when you have the chance. On her site you will also find very good information on how to chelate with DMSA and ALA (which is actually a " natural " substance). Chelation isn't a quick process. Proper, safe chelation can take a couple of years. If your doctor is saying it can be done in 3 months and recommending chlorella and cilantro I would consider finding another doctor who gives good advice, or learning enough so that you can chelate your child on your own, as we and many others are doing safely and effectively. I hope this is somewhat helpful and makes sense. We had a bad night here and I'm not in top form. :-) René > > Hi, Carolyn, > My son has hi level of mercury 0.8 (normal <0.4), hi Aluminum 10 (normal <8), and hi Arsenic 0.14 (normal <0.08). The doctor in Natural Path recommended him taking Cilantro, Chlarella, Thvja, and cod liver oil. She said that after 3 months, the chelation will work and level of the heavy metal should be back to normal. > > I realize that people in this site use medical chelation a lot.
