taurine, gaba, ltheanine have worked well for my son, he too is 13 and

non-verbal....

i have recently tried a combo - Theanine Serene with Relora, by Source

Naturals, it has taurine, gaba, ltheanine, magnesium and relora , it

has helped a lot with hyperness as well as anxiety and he seems to be

sleeping really well ... best thing it doesnt make him sleepy during

the day ...

Have you done a hair test? Consider the Feingold diet.

Adrenal cortex, licorice, any 'adrenal support " formula you find in a

vitamin store.

Yes, did a hair test seveal months ago. We will be doing our 5th

round of ALA this weekend per the AC protocol.

I will look into Feingold.

For my son hyperactivity was a viral symptom. I used Virastop, OLE, and

now Transfer Factor to treat it.

Nell,

This is really interesting. My son's titers showed elevation in HHV-6,

and all of the MMR viruses. He's a very hyperactive kid, though he got

somewhat better when we started EFAs and minerals.

We recently started transdermal Actos for viral issues and we may be

doing Valtrex at some point. I hope to be able to report that our

son's hyperactivity decreased with antivirals...

dr christopher's herbal formulas are pretty good. didnt help enough with my

tough nut though.

THE PIRACETAM HELPED BY MAKING HIM CALMER AND MORE FOCUSED, AND AWARE OF

EVERYTHING AROUND HIM. MY SON IS 16 YRS. OLD AND NON VERBAL EXCEPT FOR THE

10 WORDS WE HAVE AQUIRED THIS YEAR.. WE GIVE HIM THREE CAPUSLES AT LUNCH ,

AND ONE AT NIGHT.WE CAN GO EVERYWHERE WITHOUT BEING FRUSTRATED AND HE IS

JUST DIFFERENT..I KNOW THIS HAS HELPED HIM, TRY IT AND SEE WHAT YOU THINK..

I ORDER IT FROM A COMPANY IN CALIFORNIA.

We finally got my son on a low dose of Clonidine. .05mg in the

morning and .05mg at night. He has been on it 4 days and so far it

is working. He is calmer, less ticky and less stimmy. He seems

happier with himself as well.
