The above website has some info. Looks like it's viral, so consider adding or

upping your viral protocol. Also see the section on how it spreads and keep

that info in mind.

Anti-virals. Consider olive leaf extract and/or Virastop enzyme.

Lots of vitamin C, some vitamin A.

Is it the Emergen-C without ALA in it?

Hi Dana,
Thanks for answering my question...
How much Olive Leaf Extract would you give to a 39 lb 6 yo and a 32 lb 3 1/2

yo?
How long would I give this to them? Signs can show up from 3 to 7 days after

being exposed From what I've read.
Also, I bought Emergen -C and have been giving it to them...How much C and A

should I give them? Any advice would be great.
Thanks,
I started my kids with 250mg per day. None of them were as small as

yours tho, altho one was age 6 [and 60 pounds].

Until it is no longer required. For my #2, he needed daily OLE for

over a year, but he had a LOT of virus issues.

As much C as is tolerated without diarrhea.

Probably 2500 IU vitamin A, unless you suspect measles virus issues.

Someone recently posted that Emergen-C contains ALA, so be aware of that.

The Emergen-C does have 1mg of ALA... I must have missed that when I read the

label before buying it....My boys have taken it for 3 days... Neither one has

any amalgams....Is that ok? Should I just get Vitamin C? This stinks! Both

boys HATE taking vitamins even powders. Every time I say here taste

this....They know it probably has something in it... They actually tolerated the

berry Emergen-C....

With the OLE I'll try a small amount and see how they react to it and then

gradually up it a little more...

Thanks for the reponses. Any other comments are welcome.

Somebody recently mentioned that one of the Emergen-C doesn't contain ALA. I

don't know which one or if it's a flavor they'll like. If not, would they take

regular vitamin C powder in a smoothie?

I will have to go look. I actually found itat Walmart..They had an orange

flavor as well. I'll have to check that out...Would it still be a problem if it

had ala in it? Would such a little amount cause problems for them if they had

no amalgams, I wonder? I'llgo see whats out there..

Thanks,

I'd drop it. People can notice differences with even really small

amounts of ALA.

This wouldn't be good for the whole day's worth of C because it's

pretty sugary...but my kids *adore this and have been tricked into

believing it's a huge treat. And we're Feingold-sensitive but the

flavors don't cause problems. They taste like Sweet Tarts :).

If they are not having problems with it, then in my opinion it is

okay. Otherwise, use it like a chelator and give it on a specific

protocol.

-I think it is because ALA moves mercury, and must be given every

three hours as in the protocol or you are just redistributing it.

Kirkman sells flavored Vitamin C powder which might be worth a try.

Also, I crush up the vitamin C tablets into fine powder and mix them

into juice. My son doesn't seem to care and drinks it up.
