Guest guest
Hi Deb, This has come up many times before and some people complain about losing weight on LDN, others complain about gaining weight. Who knows what the answer is!? Debra wrote: > Hi, has anyone had success with weight loss when going on LDN?? > > Deb

Guest guest
Hi Suzanne, Thanks for your input. That sounds great about the weight loss. I have gained 20 lbs. in the past year due to prednisone dose pk x 2 and Lexapro and Neurontin. I'm so miserable - not used to this extra weight - so I'm so hoping this will help me get back to where I was - if I can just get my doctor to prescribe it. He's having to do his research first. i sent him a lot of info, but he's never prescribed it before - but I hope he will do it. If not, I'll have to get it out of the country and mix it myself. I'll get it one way or the other. Hope your relief continues to improve even more:) Good luck! Deb [low dose naltrexone] Re: Weight loss?? Hi Deb:Very interesting and timely that you asked that question. I have been wondering about that as well, because just this last month I have lost 10 lbs without ANY change in my life. I have been on LDN for 2 months now, so it actually crossed my mind also because absolutely nothing else has changed in my routine. With regulating the immune system, I expect all kinds of good things happen. I have a rheumatoid arthritis variant, not a "true" RA, but I do have thyroid disease and life-long major depression, and am using it for those reasons. I haven't noticed a dramatic difference yet, other than my fingernails grow like crazy, and I haven't had any arthritic swelling of my joints, etc. It is still too early to know about the depression, but I figured ANY increase in endorphins has got to help that as well. But the weight loss would be an AWESOME benefit!! Thanks for the question.Take care,Suzanne>> Hi, has anyone had success with weight loss when going on LDN?? > > Deb> > ____________ _________ _________ _________ _________ __>
