Guest guest
Sonja, I spent over a year in Japan and became aware of kombucha while I was there. The "cha" at the end is Japanese for "tea" and "kombu" is a type of algae or seaweed that has gone through a fermentation process and usually green tea is mix with it. To make your own the process is similar to sour dough bread, you need the starter and grow it in a container. It is rich in B vitamins and when mixed with green tea it adds an antioxidant benefit. Straight kombucha is an acquired taste, I liked it better mixed with green tea. All the best, ~ Greg in California ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Kombucha Posted by: "SONJA Dawson" Hey Yall ~ Has anyone ever heard of Kombucha Tea ???????
