I would have also thought " oh so what " , but I got a test back saying my boy (ASD age 4) is high antigliadin antibodies (allergic to gluten). Guest guest
, While that is your prerogative not to partcipate in a class action law suit, you don't need to be hostile to people who are exercising responsible citizenry by holding corporations accountable for their lies. You asked the question, and you at the very least, you owe an appreciation to the kind people who took the time to answer you and who do not deserve your unwarranted hostility. No one owes you an explanation, or have asked you for one. Guest guest
im definitely not exhausting or stressing myself over the mcdonalds law suit (which i am part of). my life was stressful and exhaustive long before i found out mc donalds fries were not gf/cf although they advertised as being so. children who are sensitive to those ingredients are further harmed. and, if anyone is like me, who spends $$$$ each year on bio medical treatments and therapeutic interventions, i feel like a lot of my hard efforts in treating my son were sabataged cause when he was supposed to be gf/cf, he wasnt. and i buy his food at whole foods market which is extremely expensive anyway. so, that was all for not. i thought my son was truly gf/cf and i was doing everything by the book only to find out later, that was in vain. oh well...this is an individual and personal choice (getting on the lawsuit). those like me who are on the law suit have good reason for being so and those who do not want to be part of it, or, do not agree or even understand should just simply delete those emails with titles about the mcdonalds lawsuit so you are not stressing or exhausting yourselves out over reading the messages on this topic. vicki
Guest guest
Vicki, I am so proud of you for doing this. If my son has had any of their fries, I would too in a heart beat. I remember specifically I told my husband that if we are ever in an emergency, Mc's fries would be safe. I would be really mad if we had ever given him such infraction. Best of luck to you and all those who are part of this. This is not just about having an infraction but a history of greed and deceit and as long as people chose to remain silent, it will continue. I think we as citizens should take a moral stance against lies, for the sake of ourselves and others. Guest guest
If everyone felt like this, we'd still have very dangerous vaccines, foods and whatnot on the market. There is still dangerous stuff out there, but it is minimized because people who are already doing a great deal, take it upon themselves to do a great deal more. It takes courage and a very finely honed sense of duty to fight for the people with no voice, and I feel like our babies have no voice. I do not know how to join the lawsuit, but I'd do it. Not for the money, that I would give to the researchers, after the lawyers are paid of course, but when you spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to make your kid better, and a company see's the profitability in that and markets blatantly false products, money/ punitive damages are the only thing they understand. For us, we go to In and Out now when we want a burger and fries. Thank you everyone, everyone out there that contributes, we each do our own small part, some not so small, and that is all we can do. Guest guest
> " holding corporations accountable for their lies. " I remember reading a few years back Mcs was sued by vegetarians as they claimed there was no animal fat in their cooking oil when in fact, there was. Suing them if you are overweight is abit crazy imho, but when they delibarately put out lies about ingredients and people get sick that is wrong. Even if you get 7 dollars it is worth it....They should not put out false information like that.
Guest guest
I remember when my son was GFCF that he got quite sick after he had some fries from Mc's, and I called to complain because they were supposed to be GFCF. The gentleman I spoke to said he thought they were, but that the workers weren't very careful and that they would cook gluten-containing items in the same oil as the fries. So maybe it's a contamination issue. Lori Getz Re: Anyone filing in the suit against Mcs? > " holding corporations accountable for their lies.
