Re: Metagenics Cenitol (myo-inositol) and constipation

Below are the ingredients for 2 scoops of Cenitol. My son took a

total of 3 scoops per day.

Inositol (as myo-inositol) 4 g

Magnesium (as magnesium bis-glycinate†) 200 mg

Citric Acid 800 mg

Prior to Cenitol, he was taking 9 Inositol per day - and he

is back on that after stopping Cenitol.

Magnesium Citrate does bring diarrhea for him - but it also brings

mean behavior. We've tried it several times.

The high dose (11 grams) Vitamin C is no longer working. Today, he

had BM in his underwear (typical with constipation for him) and then

tried to BM and couldn't. He asked me to do an enema. We did and it

produced some BM but not the volume I think it should be.

Cenitol did something to my son to cause this lasting constipation,

that just keeps getting worse. I tried to call Metagenics today, but

they won't talk to me.

Does this sound like a blockage? And if so, what do we do to get rid

of the blockage permanently?

Thanks.

I did a quick google search, these links seem informative, altho the

last two are commercial sites so be aware of that.

Apparently it is like a B vitamin, and B vitamins caused yeast for my

kids, and yeast can be constipating. So you can try increasing your

yeast protocol, see if that helps.

Citric acid is usually made from corn, does your child have problems

with corn?

What are the different ingredients from that?

Does he tolerate other forms of magnesium?

I am using high dose [45 grams] vitamin C for my son right now, and it

causes tremendous amounts of yeast because it is eliminating brain

viruses. I have to give a LOT of GSE to counteract this [no longer

controllable with just Candidase, unfortunately].

I wish I had more answers for you, but hopefully something here will help.

, this does not sound good at all. Why not try magnesium chloride? Better

yet apply it transdermally. You cannot take magnesium for chance in any protocol

and if you do it makes a mess out of everything. Use a natural sea source for

the mg cl.
