I am new to this site but I have read a lot of the e-mails and most of you are saying the LDN is red whereas mine is yellow.

Is there a difference in the color??? I have had mine since Aug but have not started taking them as yet because I was scared of it interfering with my Antenolol (50 mil) that I take at bedtime for blood pressure and to keep me from going into A-fib.

Since being on this site I have found out that it will be good for me to take since I have Leukemia.

Thank you for your answer.

Hi Judy,When they compound LDN, some pharmacies place it red capsules. The 50 mg tablets I use to make LDN are yellow in color, presumably due to the ingredients mixed with the Naltrexone to make it into tablet form. If I am not mistaken, pure Naltrexone is white in color.I think it's alright to take Antenolol with LDN, but just to be on the safe side, you should contact Dr. Skip Lenz, a Florida pharmacist and LDN expert. His e-mail address isslenzrph@...This site describes a holistic approach to treating high blood pressure that may be of help to you:http://www.webspawner.com/users/ecshypertensiontx/index.htmlWith best wishes,Dudley Delany

My LDN capsules are white (just for the record!) I'm taking 4.5... as I have in the past for a skin condition, is that an ok dose to start on for treatment of MS symptoms (no formal diagnosis yet)..

thanks!

Hi ,Because LDN tends to initially worsen MS symptoms (especially spasticity), the recommended dosage is 1.5 mg nightly for the first month, 3 mg the next month, and then 4.5 mg thereafter. For more information about LDN in the treatment of MS, visithttp://tinyurl.com/grpm9With best wishes,Dudley Delany

Sure, if you've been on 4.5 before, it's the optimum dose. I personally think people should do 3.0 or 4.5 and NEVER 1.5

so if you're comfortable at 4.5, GREAT
