Sandy,

I'm not sure if it's an AS thing, but my son has excess saliva as well. He

" deposits " it on his shirt sleeves to get rid of it. At home, I try to get him

to spit it out in the sink. Chewing gum has helped.

The speech therapist worked with my son on when to swallow while talking. It may

be a sensory thing which can be an as/autism thing.
