Still trying to get use to the idea.......

Hey guys, I am still trying to get use to the idea of having an

Autistic child. He is high on the spectrum, they said High

Functioning Autism. I was in denial for about a year. This school

year for some reason I have come to terms with it, I guess I did for

my son's sake. I am still kind of fuzzy on what Autism is and how he

got it. He acts like a normal little boy for the most part. His

school is great with him. They have teachers that special in Autism

there and they do alot of one on one with my son, which Im greatfull

for. His other schools in the past have labeled him as a problem

child. But the school he is in right now is the best! Anyway I live

in Georgia, I would love to meet others with children like mine. But

I also need online friends that are going through the same thing. Any

ideas and information will be greatly appreaciated.

Also...they are running tests on my youngest son as well...he may have

Autism too....

Please help me understand what is going on with my child!
