Guest guest
Helen/Alia: Do you think there is anyway that we could see the tv show? Does the channel that it was on have a website? Thanks for posting the pictures and thanks from those of us, like me, who are out here but don't post often. You are still all in our prayers and we think of you all everyday. Our daughter, ne, is doing well with regards to the arthritis. We just can't keep her healthy. She started Middle school this year and has missed 40 days already. She seems to pick up every bug or virus there is. We live in Michigan so the drs are saying that the weather is not helping us either for it is freezing cold one day and then warm the next. I can't wait for the Spring and warmer weather God bless you all and thanks for being here for all of us. As I told one support group mom, even my closet friends whom I love dearly don't understand what we are going through. I really believe that you have to experience it first hand to REALLY know what it is like to either have JRA/RA or to have a child with it. God Bless - Kim Summerhill & ne (12 yrs - Poly JRA)
Guest guest
Has anyone watched the tv show called Beauty and the Geek...at first I thought it was some crude show because of the title but as I watched, it kind of reminded me of my boy when he grows up...lacking social skills, book smart, little interest in girls...they are really trying to make a difference with this show...I think it's kind of clever if you ask me...It's on tonight on the CW network (not cable) primetime. Just a thought, see ya
Guest guest
Yes, I watch the show each season. I like it although there are times/scenes (like tonite's show's preview) when I want to turn the channel for a minute. What hooked me on it was that some of the young men & women really do change for the better, and it's because of those that I enjoy it. And so far, the girls usually quit seeing the guys as " geeks " before the end of the season. And the guys gain social skills they wouldn't have. And some in both sexes gain some self- confidence. > > Has anyone watched the tv show called Beauty and the Geek...at first I > thought it was some crude show because of the title but as I watched, > it kind of reminded me of my boy when he grows up...lacking social > skills, book smart, little interest in girls...they are really trying > to make a difference with this show...I think it's kind of clever if > you ask me...It's on tonight on the CW network (not cable) primetime. > Just a thought, see ya >
