Guest guest
My name is Sheryl, and my 10 year old daughter has aspergers. Anyway homework seems to throw her into a fit most nights. I have spoken to the school about it, and can't seem to get any compassion from her teacher. She sends home what I think are snooty letters about Becky not doing her homework. I personally think they send too much homework home anyhow. My kids don't get off the bus until almost 4pm. Then after an hour and a half worth of homework its time to eat, and then almost bedtime. Then I catch flack from her therapist about how I don't socialize her more. When am I supposed to have time to socialize her. I am tired of the turbulance this is causing for the family. I am sick of fighting with her just about everyday. I am seriousley considering sending her to a different school that can handle her special needs. I assume I am not the only parent going through this. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks for letting me vent. Sheryl
