Guest guest
My 4 1/2 yo was recently dx with aspergers and we have a meeting coming up about services. It sounds like he may be able to attend an integrated preschool for children with aspergers or get services separately. My husband and I are very hesitant about the preschool because it means that everything he is participating in now (a preschool he's in his second year attending, dance class, gymnastics, and a second preschool that he enjoys) conflict with the classes. He really enjoys the things he's involved in and asks us to sign him up again when it is necessary. It seems, though, that the integrated preschool will provide him with more services. We don't want him to feel like he's done something wrong and he's being removed from his activities because of it. Any words of wisdom?
