Guest guest
My daughter is six years old. She has been given diagnosises of Asperger's and PDD with ADD tendencies. She is in a cyber charter school. It's a form of home schooling without the afidavit, portfolio, evaluator, etc in PA. She is doing well in math and science. Her letter recognition and writting have greatly improved. We like the program. She has an IEP that provides OT and ST. Our struggle is with sight words in kindergarten. The special ed instructional supervisor said not to use flash cards with her at this age. She said they are not useful until sixth grade. Then how do I get her to learn sight words such as- the, can, come, and, it, yes, no, run. TIA Stef
