Guest guest
If one more person tells me that I have to " do something " about my son's " overscheduling " because he's in behavioral therapy, OT, preschool, and individual swim lessons (as physical therapy), I think I might punch them in the nose. Do they think I LIKE secretly taking extended lunch hours to take Arie to his therapies? Do they think I LIKE never going out to lunch with girlfriends because there is always a therapy appointment? Do they think I enjoy wrangling my schedule to see how we can possibly fit in social skills classes? Do they think I'm doing all of this because I'm some sort of yuppie? Gah!!!!!!! While I'm at it, my mother told me that she thinks if we move away from the city (we are centrally located and the envy of all other Aspie parents because nearly all of his appointments are within 5-7 minutes of our house) and give Arie lots of unstructured time in the outdoors he won't have Tourette's anymore. Double Gahhhhhh!!!!!! Ahhhh. I feel better already. Thanks for listening.
