,

It's difficult to assess what's going on when children are so young.

Is your child in a preschool? Does he get speech therapy? If so,

maybe some of those people can help you. Is there anything that has

caused your son extra anxiety lately that could be causing him to shut

down. I would suggest lots of consistant routine, low stress, extra

sleep, time with mom for security, etc. If all that doesn't work then

seek out professional help, maybe a developmental pediatrician. Have

you been to one yet?

Best,

Debbie

( ) Question my son stopped talking and looking

My very HFA son stopped talking last week we have had allot of bad

luck over the last few days. Some of our son's routines have had to

change. and since he has stopped talking and now will not look at us.

When he does kinda come back to us all he does is scream and cry. The

Dr says he is fine as far as health goes he is not sick. But he

doesn't know to much else to say and since he is only 3 there is

really nothing we can do. So I thought I would ask yawl if yawl have

ever dealt with this and /or had any ideas for us

Brice is a very loving 3 year old boy. but has allot of social

problems and he is also speech delayed he goes and goes till last week

now he just sits and listens.
