Guest guest
This may be a long shot, but does anybody have info on how to score the Gillaim Aspergers Disorder Scale test? We did this with the school psychologist and I just want to check her math, without asking her personally and risking annoying her. I just need to know how to calculate the raw score, standard score, and percentile. I have a copy of our original test. can anybody help? thanks! Guest guest
, if you google " Gilliam Asperger's Disorder Scale " you can order copies of the test kit and examiner's manual, although this looks like it costs $100 or so. If you don't want to do this, two ideas: 1. Check out the following link and e-mail address to Dr. Gilliam. He may have suggestions for you. This scale consists of several sub-scales including: Restricted Pattern of Behavior, Cognitive Patterns, Pragmatic Skills, Early Development, and Key Question. This scale can be completed by both parents and professionals. This scale is new, so please consider recommending it to those professionals working with your children. Dr. Gilliam is the author of several rating scales including the GARS (Gilliam Autism Rating Scale). In addition, Dr. Gilliam is interested in hearing from families who might like to participate in the norming of his scales. For more information contact him at: jgilliam@... The Gilliam Autism Rating Scale is being revised. Research is being done to improve this test and enhance its use. Would you be interested in participating in this research? By selecting the link to the survey site, you will be able to complete the GARS on-line on someone you know who has autism. This will only take 5-10 minutes of your time. Your participation and the participation of others is needed to improve this useful diagnostic instrument. If you need further information, contact Dr. E. Gilliam at: jgilliam@... or at his website: pages.tstar.net <http://pages.tstar.net/~jgilliam> Please inform others you know who might be interested in this research. We need as many participants as possible. Thank you in advance for your participation and support. 2. E-mail or write an entity at the Central Michigan University, called CALL : Email: CALL@... <mailto:CALL@...> . Phone: 989-774-1611. Fax: 989-774-2553 They have a list of tests for professionals to do educational screening, http://www.chsbs.cmich.edu/Psychology/call/test1.htm#Autism, including the GADS test and may have some info on scoring they could send you for free.
