presentation and the problems we were having about it at home.. and

as a last minute thing.. decided I would bring in Remi to visit the

life skills class.. well he takes Remi over there.. and they loved

him.. ! After a bit.. we said.. Do you notice anything about him??

Yess .. and yes... but.. now.. can you all count his legs?? ONE>>>

TWO>>> THREE!! OMG HE ONLY HAS THREE LEGS!!!

The moral of the story??? Everyone has a disability.. of some sort..

but only some people .. the ones who aren't as special as us..

NOTICE The disability only.. instead we notice the WHOLE being!! I

am telling you.. I was in tears by the end of this class..

I am so excited and so glad I have the kind of job that gives me

some time off.. that I can do things like this.

I am going to give three cheers to Chase.. as it was a confidence

builder to him too and... three cheers to the kids in the class...

it was quite an experience .. one I will remember for a lifetime!

Poor Remi! I wonder if they have ritalin for dogs???? They give them prozac

sometimes. Hummmm.

Well he

was running down my

Outside stairs and broke his leg.. Right above the wrist. He is only 4 lbs.

So he has very tiny bones. They couldn't do any screws and plates..

Because as the doctor said its like putting a screw into a tooth pic and it

would splinter. So it was casted and we crossed our fingers. It didn't

heal so amputation was the best option. He really has done well. So well I

am fearful for his remaining legs as he won't slow down! We have baby gates

all over the house now. No stairs for him!
