Guest guest
I am posting this question to several list serves in hopes that someone will know what this means. I was reviewing my son's records / IEP minutes. Last July, docucmentation was noted on accomodations for testing. The tests included: 1. CRCT and 2 NRT (it was hard to read, but it looked like Norm Referenced Test) When I asked my son about this, he said he does not know either. Any ideas? Thanks, Marsha Marsha White Mom to , 13 years old, Asperger's / ADHD / OCD Mom to , 15 years old Mom to Sammy, 4 year old black and tan mini dachshund --------------------------------- gets better. Guest guest
Marsha A " norm-referenced test " is one which has been administered to a random sample of the " normal " or typical population to set guidelines for it. In other words, this test was given to a random sample of kids and the results from this test set the limits for what is average, above average, and below average. Hope this helps.
