Guest guest
You should have an IEP meeting where you all discuss his classes and what he needs. You shouldn't have a separate team that goes over stuff without you. I would call an IEP meeting and discuss his future needs all together. They need to plan on his transition to " life after high school " and if he is going to college, they must start taking that into consideration as his schedule is planned. Roxanna ( ) High School Can anyone assist with high school IEP. My son wants to get into college.. he's not looking for Princeton but local.. not Community. He has a 2 yr reqirement of langage and the district has levels of classes. Level 1 - honors thru level 5 - self contained prep for HSPA. Though I gfet to fill out the classes and levels I think he should take the IEP team can change that. Has anyone ever had this happen? Should I call his case worker )as suggested) for her advise on placement? This is a whole new area for me. TIA in NJ
