We are in our second week of preschool with my just turned 3 yr old. I must

say so far it has all been positive. She loves to go and the bus ride for the

most part is going well.

Today was her school evaluation by their person.

She was very helpful with hints and all but she says that she will most likely

give my daughter a pdd label. Something about the school gets their funding for

this label and not AS at 3 yrs old?

Also we discussed food issues and seemed suprised when I told her that we eat

almost all crunchy, brown foods. We eat no smooth creamy foods. I got the

feeling sensory meant nothing to her? It's like she didn't recognize it as an

issue?

I haven't got any results from here is there anything I should be aware of that

might not be in my daughters best interest? This is all so new.

Both AS and PDD would go in the same category of Autism. I have no idea

what she was thinking.

I get the same blank stare when discussing food issues. This is mostly

because it's not educationally relevant to them so they don't really care or

focus on this area.
