Guest guest
11 Things I've learned from staying up all night with my son. 1. A very clever toy boat can be made with a large Lego block, a pencil and a thing piece of foam 2. Cats are definitely nocturnal...and they like to prove this by repeatedly chasing one another across my desk, spilling my coffee and scratching my legs. 3. Coffee only keeps me awake for the first hour or so then the effects wear off. 4. My fingers wrinkle during the third shower in four hours. 5. " X-Files " comes on at 3am on Friday mornings on TNT. 6. My dog *does* need to pee in the middle of the night. Evidently he's just been holding it on the rare nights I'm actually sleeping. 7. Cooking is even less enjoyable at 3:30 in the morning...but so are cold hamburgers left in the fridge from supper. 8. The world is very quiet at night but I'm too zombified to decide if that s lonely or peaceful. 9. Empty boxes make excellent robots if stacked just right. 10. Some trees in the rain forest have some type of milk in them instead of sap. 11. " Myth Busters " comes on TV very late, but will teach you about things like milk trees in rainforests. -Jenn, AEP (ADD, Bi-Polar, Anxiety/Depression) Proud Momma of Cory Albert (14yrs ADHD), h Dawn (12yrs Anxiety/Depression) and Jerry Lee " Trey " (9yrs ADHD, Bi-Polar, Asperger's)
