Guest guest
My son used to walk out on us. Many times it was he just wanted to go out and forgot to ask. As he got older he'd ask to go out but would come in without telling me. So I would be looking for him outside. I now have these metal door chimes that say welcome ( there were a dollar at AC ). No one can get in or out without being heard, it also make a nice banging sound against the storm door. Then there were signs that said STOP... ask Mom.. it was tougher coming in. I did begin to check his room first before panicking. He's almost 13 so its gotten easier and the chimes are my way of keeping track. They are still on my door and no one gets by me. BTW, when DS was 4 he locked me out with his little sister. After that we hid a key in the back yard. Just another thought...
