Guest guest
No Connie, money is not the issue but it is HERS. Guest guest
You Go girl she may even want a Royals or a mansion too.....LOL I know very silly and this is not what you are wanting , but Connie Darran's dad never accepted him either, the man was killed in an accident in his own back yard when Krystal was 21/2 and Darran was 51/2 so now he never got the chance to know either of his children. His loss the years he waisted , but my gain because I have two beautiful young teenagers who I am very proud to call mine. Carolyn Re: Child Support No Connie, money is not the issue but it is HERS. When my husband PA has one great law - be in arrears and they will nullify the driving license!!! One Commonwealth to another - maybe VA would like that law. Guest guest
Depends on other issues, like if you work or end up on welfare. I was divorced in Calif and though it did not play a role in how much I get paid I do get to collect until the child is married, self-sufficient or dies. The child support does not stop when the child turns 18. ~ Thanks! Kim child support Hi all, I have a question. Does anyone know if you have a child with down syndrome with a lot of medical problems does that get into consideration with how much child support is paid? Guest guest
Not for me it didn't ... Nic's bio dad paid $154 a month, and then it was upped to $300 a month when he was 8. My current hubby just adopted him b/c Nic's bio dad didn't see him anyway. Sandy Love Monona, WI Hi all, I have a question. Guest guest
Check your state code (law) online and read up on child support. One thing to caution you all about who have children that receive support is how will this effect their benefits when they become adults if child support continues beyond their 18th birthday. It could prohibit them from receiving SSI if the amount is higher - and worse, effect their ability to receive medicaid. I heard a case recently - can't remember where but probably at work where this caused an individual from receiving support services funded via medicaid. CRS strikes again! child support > > Hi all, > > I have a question. Guest guest
Any child support received is counted against SSI - even if you don't get it. We had an order for $350 and he didn't pay, but SSI still counted it - minors or adults, it is income. Sandy Love Re: child support Check your state code (law) online and read up on child support. Guest guest
Hey, Kimerly, I live in South Dakota, and when my ex got behind about 2 years,,I had to have help. I was in Texas when I was divorced, and I called the atternaty gererals office. They have a child support system that works !! Now, I recieve 75.00 dollars a week, or 300.00 a month. She graduated just weeks ago,,and he owes me the next 5 years to make up all he did not pay. Over 7000.00 in interest, for more than 14,000.00. Is he bitter,,,damn right. But, he was only obligated to pay 175.00 a month, and chose new sterios, and new pickups instead. We got divorced 17 years ago, and not one did I try for more money, or insuarane, or a dime extra. Another thing that might help...when I applyed for welfare, years ago,,they wanted my second childs information on his daddy. (long story short, due to death threats, I did not want to give that information out.) I was denied help, so,,I assume that if the father does not pay,,,the welfare system hunts him down??? Hope this helps...barbra <BR> > & gt;<BR> > & gt; Remember the movie Groundhog day?? LOL I & nbsp; always say that's > our <BR> > lives.. Some<BR> > & gt; days you are always saying. ..
