Guest guest
Hi there! If your reading this that means I got the group owners approval to be posted which I have yet to have done! haha. I am not a person with Aspergers and Im not a parent or a family member... I wish I could say I was a professional but that wouldn't be quite right either. I am a graduate student in Speech Pathology and I just wanted to get some information from a parent of a child with Aspergers. Im not asking for anyones personal information, names or any identifying info. Lots of people seem to think Im doing this for research, which I suppose it could be considered that, however I wont be publishing anything or worse yet, making any money from someones answers. : ) I just have a couple specific questions for the parent, mainly about their language development as a child, feeding habits, etc. and I was looking for some help. If someone... ANYONE who is a parent of a child with Aspergers and would be willing to answer some of my questions, which shouldnt take more than a short email or two, I would REALLY REALLY appreciate it! My email is lyn3739@... Thanks so much!!!
Guest guest
Hi , My 13 year old son has Asperger's Syndrome. Ask your questions and I will see if I can help you at all. I doubt my son is as severe as some of the other kids I have been reading about but he has his special quirks. > > Hi there! Guest guest
Lee, Welcome to the list. I do know that there is a paper by Dr. Rossignol posted in the files section of the HBOTherapyforAutism group. I also believe there is a presentation by him in one of the DANwebcasts, although I may be wrong on that. Glad to hear that you've done well with your boy. Guest guest
Thanks I checked out the places you suggested via the internet. I'm looking forward to actually hearing him speak. We've tried many things with our son and the only things that we've really seen great feed back and lasting effects from has been bio medical. (though our exposure to it has been minimal) I'm really looking forward to taking the bio-med leap and going full force with this dreadful epidemic. Thanks for everyones help.
