Guest guest
Hi. I have two daughters with OCD and Hannah, the oldest, has taken Abilify for a couple of years now with great success. , her younger sister, has taken Risperdal for a little longer, also with success. also took Zyprexa (again, with success) for two years. We tried using Geodon for Hannah before the Abilify but it didn't seem to do much for her. Neither child seems to be suffering any negative side effects from their meds. They, by the way, are both beasts right now with Christmas so close. Argh! Kelley in NV
Guest guest
Abilify did not work with my daughter. She is on very low dose Resperdal (.75 mg) as an adjunct to 200 mg Luvox/day. I had researched the breast side effects (we haven't had any) and the literature indicates that the side effects disappear upon stopping the drug. Good luck, there are many choices out there. Took us forever to find the right combination (about 3 years!), but doing well now. > Anyone have success with an atypical antipsychotic, other than Seroquel or > Risperdal? Guest guest
Interesting article in today's New York Times about atypical antipsychotics and doctors who prescribe them. www.nytimes.com/2007/05/10/health/10psyche.html?_r=1 & hp & oref=slogin Liz
