8yr old has Aspergers & epilepsy

Hi, I'm Becky & I've just joined this group.

My son's had epilepsy since he was 2 but has only just been diagnosed with

Aspergers.

I feel like it's one thing after another, he was born with abnormal

development of his brain too.

I read a recent report that children who have older fathers are more at risk

of having such problems. His dad's 16 years older than me & I can't help feel

this had something to do with it (we divorced 5 yrs ago).

How do other parents deal with temper tantrums, if I send Nat to his room he

just trashes it.

I'm marrying my long-term partner next year & we want Nat to be involved so

he's the ring bearer. He'll probably lift my wedding dress up & flash my bridal

lingerie at all our guests when I'm saying my vows tho!!
