Kate – I saw your post the other day but have been so busy

with end of school stuff with my son I haven’t had time to reply. I

have a 17 year old son who was diagnosed with ADHD in kindergarten and with

Asperger’s 2 years ago. I feel enormous regret that we got the

diagnosis of Asperger’s so late as I feel we are struggling to get Tyler

all the help he needs and definitely could have used years ago. Oh, well…

Tyler has some sensory issues but I don’t think any have

ever related to smell or if they did/do they aren’t memorable. It

is too bad that your sensitivity to smells is affecting your life so

drastically. What kind of work do you do? I wish you luck in

finding someplace to live soon.

I was also very moved by what you wrote about your life and

sensory issues. It helped me really “see” and understand what

Tyler goes thru and feels like every day. Hang in there!

Hi Kate. It went through - I actually kept it and meant to reply.....so sorry. Been busy. So sorry you had to leave.....but you gotta do what you gotta do sometimes. So,,,,did you actually lose your job or are they being cool and waiting until you move back somewhere closer? Are there other jobs out there that seem good? What about apartments? Tell all. I'll reply - I promise. RobinKate Goldfield <Kgoldfie@...> wrote: Did my post on my apartment issues and sensory issues go through? I havent gotten any replies. Just wondering. Kate

Boardwalk for $500? In 2007? Ha! Play Monopoly Here and Now (it's updated for today's economy) at Games.

My stepmom said she would take me to work and back so I can keep the job. I'm hoping I can find somewhere else to live for the last 2 weeks as living here is driving me crazy.

Thanks for your replies , they are appreciated :)

I just thought the part aboput the sensory stuff might be of interest to people in understanding their kids' issues but i know it was a little long.
