My son was evaluated year before last for gifted program in school. He

had always exhibited curious behaviors. After he was evaluated, the

school psychiatrist said that she thought he had Asperger's Syndrome

and not ADHD as originally diagnosed. They decided, based on his IQ,

to just keep him in gifted and pursue no other avenues. I am scheduled

to go into a neurologist with him soon. Does anyone have any feedback

or suggestion on how they received their proper diagnosis. These sites

have helped explain so much to me, and I really do believe that he has

it. I also feel that his father does as well. Any information would be

greatly appreciated!!

Beth :-)
