A question for our wise group of parents

Good-morning all! Well, since you are such a wise gathering of parents

I am posing a question to you: Our 10-year-old (generally, happy go

lucky) son has been on Concerta for approximately one year. He has

done fantastic on it (first 18 mg, now 27 mg for the past 1/2 year).

It has helped change his inattentiveness to school work a great deal.

So, the problem... as of the past 1-2 weeks he has been extremely

teary. I thought perhaps it might be related to being bothered at

school, but it is happening at home too with the slightest provocation

i.e. typical sibling teasing sets him off crying. My question: Could

it be the medication? Nothing has changed, but do the kids' systems

get too used to the dosage?? Any experience with an onset of sudden

sadness their child has encountered, I would really appreciate the

insight.

Thanks all and have a great day!

Velvet
