Guest guest Posted May 10, 2002 Report Share Posted May 10, 2002
For the life of me, I have never been able to understand women's sizing schemes. For men, we wear a size 2 when we are 2 years old. By the time we're 16 we start buying by waist size, and inseam. Simple. & nbsp; & nbsp; & nbsp; -dz-
& nbsp; WILLIAM A WALTKE & lt;kbwaltke@... & gt; wrote:

At my prom I wore a size 2. & nbsp; & nbsp; On my Wedding day I am not sure but it sure couldn't been

over a 4..... & nbsp; & nbsp; Well now gadfrys I will never tell but its not a single digit number and its somewhere

between a 10 and 14. & nbsp; And I am so short. & nbsp; not but 5'2 & nbsp;

& nbsp;

Re: [ ] Fwd: Hugs

& nbsp;
I see ya Fluffy and I can't remember ever wearing a 4 or 6..Must have been when I was 4 or 6...LOL..I'm not heavy but so tall..

Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest guest Posted May 10, 2002 Report Share Posted May 10, 2002 That's because women want to THINK they have a 12 year old body. If I had to buy pants by waist size I'd have to measure my waist and it wouldn't be what I wanted. So it makes us happy to have small numbers. And you know if we're happy you get to be happy. Guest guest Posted May 10, 2002 Report Share Posted May 10, 2002 Oh I don't know about the 12 year olds body. My grandaughter is 12 and grant she is taller than I am already. By far. But she looks 12 going on 18... I think they grow em bigger these days. Re: [ ] Fwd: Hugs That's because women want to THINK they have a 12year old body. Guest guest Posted May 13, 2002 Report Share Posted May 13, 2002 I haven't measured anything in years..............I've not bought any new clothes as I have just about every size I've ever been.............just packed away .........so no matter what the size I have it already..............who gives a big damn about 'fashion'!!! If I feel swollen...( as I have ascites to deal with & & edema @ times too) then I cut way back on my 'sweet tooth' treats!!!!! but I eat lots of fruit & very very little red meat........like MAYBE once or twice a month ..if that often........I do eat tolerate chicken-turkey- or some fish(if it's white kind--like halibut or some of the non-greasy cods......... like ling cod....I do however like 'red snapper' occasionally literally HATE Salmon!!!!!!! Don't like the taste @ all...........yuk!!!!!!!!..Ken loves it tho & I let HIM cook it!!!!!!! arlene Sharon Zeis wrote: > That's because women want to THINK they have a 12 > year old body. Guest guest Posted February 8, 2006 Report Share Posted February 8, 2006 Just wanted to offer HUGS to everyone who's having a bad day (like me). School meetings, evaluations, out of touch school psychologists who would rather sit with their thumbs up their a$$es than be nice to parents (excuuuuse me for asking for a copy of the evaluation form, and *gasp* how DARE I ask WHEN the next meeting is?), etc etc.... Aren't parents/teachers/psychologists all suppose to be part of the " team " ? I haven't played many team sports, but I do know that if the whole team isn't on the same page, the team doesn't succeed. Uggh. HUGS Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
