Guest guest
Hi; I am looking into buying some DVDs about teaching socialization (to 5.5 year old boy), have you ever used anything like that (visual tools)? If so, would you share your experience with me? thanks

It is geared towards safety messages but some of it will be useful for kids like ours. I haven't used them so I cannot make a personal recommendation. But they do look interesting. Guest guest
I just ordered and viewed with my AS daughter a VHS from Model Me Kids - " Time for School " that teaches how to act appropriately in school. We both enjoyed it and she was very interested in it. They also have a video " Time for a Playdate " which comes out in October. www.modelmekids.com Vicki in NY ( ) Would you recommend any DVDs that teach socialization! Guest guest
My child really liked this DVD as well. It seeemd to have helped his transition into Kindergarten and he still likes to watch it occasionally. The only problem is that he keeps trying to correct people who dont act the way they do in the DVD. He says, that's NOT the way it's done in " Time For School " and that bothers him. --- Vicki <vsmith@...> wrote: > I just ordered and viewed with my AS daughter a VHS > from Model Me Kids - > " Time for School " that teaches how to act > appropriately in school. Guest guest
These aspies! Once they know the rules, they must enforce them! Glad your child liked that DVD. I'm waiting for Time for a Playdate to come out. They said in October.
