Guest guest
I just had to come on and say I am feeling energized. I got " Navigating the Social World " yesterday from the library. It is an entire curriculum, but can be done even at home. They recommend one-on-one at first, so parent as coach is great. Anyway, the introduction gave such a great description of AS, and the stress involved in just dealing with day to day interactions. It gave me food for thought about the tumultuous school year we just had. Incorporating what I have determined in the past few weeks about the school situation, it makes much more sense now. In the end, I am certain ph can recover back to the level he was at the beginning at the year, then progress. But it is going to take a lot of work. He was knocked down. Not intentionally, but continually. It'll get better, though.
