If any of your children hate having their hair washed, I've found

something great called " No Rinse Shampoo " , where no water is

necessary. Just put some on their head, rub in, and towel off. It is

used by NASA astronauts. It really solved some problems for us. I got

mine from Amazon.com.

> I bought a small set of shears and tried to cut my son's hair and it

was a nightmare. He wiggled and screamed and I got two strips up the

back of his head before I gave up. Plus I did a lousy job - I've

never cut hair before....

afternoon when it's slow and no wait. The reason I go to great clips

is because it doesn't have a lot of oders and it's pretty sparse

(weekday afternoons there are only 2 haircutters and maybe one other

customer) and they're good a cutting hair really FAST.... I tell her

he doesn't need a great cut - just a fast 'short' cut that will last a

couple of months.

him with a trip to the toy store afterwards if he'll sit there until

it's done..... it's costly but it works. Like my mother always said -

choose your battles wisely!

as usual. I'm wondering if I should buy a haircutting kit and do it

myself. Dh says not to, as he needs to get used to this sort of thing

in life. Who is right?
