Guest guest Posted June 19, 2005 Report Share Posted June 19, 2005 Hi Jackie, my son did gain some weight on abilify but I feel that the benifits outweigh the weight gain! I have a son who will now socialize somewhat with his family . I have actually seen him smile for the first time in so long that I had actually forgotten how much his face lights up when he smiles. It actually brought tears to my eyes! You need to remember that at this age children tend to put on some weight just before a growth spurt and then they tend to " thin out " again......
