Help getting diagnoses of as

Hi, I am new here. I kinda stumbled across your board. I have been

reading about " as " for a couple weeks now. Everything I read about it

pretty much describes my daughter, who is 6 and in 1st grade. I just

don't even know where to start to get a diagnosis. Do I go to my

pediatrician or do I take her to a therapist of some kind. She is

doing extremely well in school she absolutely loves learning, but she

doesn't play well with the other children and I would like to get her

some help as far as social interaction in school. I am just so

confused. This is all very new to me. I am in the Middletown, NY

area. I would appreciate any help or referrals to particular doctors

that you can give me. Thanks so much!
