Guest guest
I would like to thank everyone for their condolences, advice, and support. You are all wonderful people and I am blessed to have you all here. I did take Jake to the funeral, and he did awesome, I was extremely proud of his behavior that day. He sat through the service, holding my hand, telling me it would be ok, and he will always be here for me. For the first time that I can ever remember, he listened to EVERY word the minister spoke, and every word sank in and he understood it all. At the end of the service, he talked to everyone there and even told them thank you, and shook their hands. He did have a couple of moments when I thought it was going bad, he thought he saw his brother breathing and yelled at him to wake up, but over all, his strength helped ME through the service, and he was a little man. I'm trying harder than ever to get Jake an Autism assistance dog, I even have a letter out to Dr. Phil and Montel. I am still pursuing a future in children's educational rights, but I am also going to start working on Autism awareness, and assisting other AS children, especially those who have sufferd a great loss, to raise $ for assistance dogs. Love is something our kids often have trouble feeling, and these dogs can teach them the uncoditional love, trust, and true friendship that they so desperately need. If any of you have any ideas or are interested in helping with any of these projects, please email me at tharding@.... This email does not get junkmail like my , so I use this one for the " important " stuff. {{{HUGS}}} to all of you! Theresa
