Hi Liz, how did the tests go? Okay? I hope all is well at your end?

Re: ( ) keep your leg up, ice and dont bear weight on

it...ha, ha, ha

Hi ,

That truly s*cks. I know how hard it is to stay off a leg that a

bunch of kids want to have run around. Be firm. Use this as an

opportunity to get others to do more around the house.

I've been having some health problems, too, and have been put on

serious exercise restriction. I get the results of this ultrasound

tomorrow. I am not happy. The good side is that ds is taking more

responsibility for his own assignments and for things around the

house. :-) Liz

Oh no, Liz. When is your surgery?

Roxanna

Re: ( ) keep your leg up,ice and dont bear weight on

it...ha, ha, ha

Thanks. They didn't. :-( Turns out that I have an ovarian tumor. I

don't know yet whether it's cancerous, and I won't know until they

remove it. I also have a colon that's waving around like a flag.

They're not supposed to do that. So they're going to set up musical

surgeons on the same day. Bother! We are probably going to have to

teach how to take the train to school. He is gonna be less

than thrilled.

Hi Roxanna,

They didn't come back so great. I've got an ovarian tumor. I won't

know whether it's malignant or benign until after surgery. I see the

gynecologic oncologist on Monday. arrggghhh. and I took the

train 45 miles out to his school on Saturday, so he can do that while

I see doctors and have surgery and recover from surgery. Fortunately,

it's pretty straightforward. He has gotten a lot more independent

lately.

Roxanna,

I actually feel okay. They found the tumor because they were looking

at something else. I don't think it's very big, and It doesn't hurt

at all. is trying very hard to be helpful, but is feeling very

nervous. But hey, so is his 24 year old NT sister. She calls every

day from Washington DC to make sure I'm still around! LOL

LOL
