Guest guest
Hello, all, We've had our enzymes about ten days now and I have some questions. The first few days I just sprinkled a little on DS's dinner and breakfast, then we started taking whole capsules prior to eating-- prime zyme first, then peptizide. Now we're up to prime zyme and peptizide with each meal and no-fenol once a day. This week I'm going to try to use them for afternoon snacks, too, but for school snack I'm trying to send something like potato chips that might not be a problem without the enzymes. Does that sound like a good plan? We did experience some irritability and hyperactivity last week. He got two warnings at school after going almost the whole grading period with none. If this keeps up, what could it mean? Typical adjustment stuff? More no-fenol needed? (He's never seemed to react to phenol foods directly after eating them but he does seem to crave them and seemed to react badly to B6) Yeast Die-off? I was also interested in the virus theory on the cycling thread. DS does seem to cycle a lot--he's always done this. How do you sort all this out? Hopefully the negatives will disappear soon. Thanks a bunch! PS--there are some positives, very subtle, but there.
Guest guest
>>>Does that sound like a good plan? The plan sounds good. >>>> We did experience some irritability and hyperactivity last week. ...If this keeps up, what could it mean? It could be adjustment. Are you seeing anything good or positive at the same time? Any improvements at all along with the temperamental behavior? oops, just saw the P.S. at the end of your message. I asked about the positives because when you see positive along with any negatives, it almost always turns out that the negatives are adjustments than go away shortly and the positives stay. >>>>More no-fenol needed? Yeast Die-off? A little hard to tell at this point. Many of the highly phenolic foods are also fruits - so the sugar might be causing yeast activity OR the phenols causing their own reaction. Both an intolerance and yeast (or bacteria) involve a 'detox' reaction so symptoms can be very similar. >>>I was also interested in the virus theory on the cycling thread. DS does seem to cycle a lot--he's always done this. Can you describe the up times and the down times? What are the cycles like? Some people say it shows in behavior or like they come down with the flu 'spontaneously' and then later just 'spontaneously' get better. >>> How do you sort all this out? One day or week at a time. I am a very systematic and logical thinker (if you haven't noticed, LOL), and so favor the 'process of elimination' and 'look for patterns' format. .
