Hi All,

My 2.6 yr ASD son is like a yo-yo. One day he does quite well, the

next day not so well. He is currently on enzymes(all 3 houston) at

each meal and snack and some calcium and magnesium. Since

Christmas, we have treated for yeast and bacteria and have seen

great results. However, he doesnt seem to tolerate Culturelle as an

ongoing probiotic. So, he is no longer on any probiotic and I think

that could be causing our yo-yo effect. Yesterday, I took him off

the culturelle(again) and he had a really good day, nice

stools, verbal not as stimmy, etc. Today, back to not as verbal,

whiny, emotional, looser stools and not as focused. So, I'm trying

to figure what I can do to help stabalize him and to keep the yeast

under control. He is already on a low refined sugar diet as we

suspect he is hypoglycemic. He does eat a fair amout of fruit,

limited bread (GFCF) and some carbs along with protein. Would it

be best to introduce another probiotic first to see if he tolerates

that? I also want to introduce Brainchilds Vits and Mins. Should I

do that first? Should I just give some no-fenol in between meals to

keep yeast under control since we know he tolerates enzymes and then

proceed with the brainchilds? How about doing oil of oregano rubbed

on his feet to work on the yeast and bacteria or I do have uva ursi

as well? My mom gut is telling me to give no-fenol between meals

and proceed with the brainchilds. Any ideas is greatly appreciated.
