Quick questions.

Two days after starting NoFenol, DS came to me with a rash.

It is tiny dark red pinpricks on hands and arms, no where else.

Not a profuse amount of spots but noticeable.

Three days later and it has gone.

Any idea if this could be related to the NoFenol?

He has not had this before and I do not recognize it.

Also, regarding phenols, A friend asked me whether DS sometimes walks

differently, a question I did not consider at the time.

She has a dyspraxic son and is used to noticing these things.

However, following a trip to a restaurant a couple of evenings later, DH

commented that DS was not walking properly.

On reflection, DS does sometimes walk with a bit of a swing, perhaps leaning

on me and on the outsides of his feet.

Now I am thinking re diet, this seems to be after foods. DS had been eating

a sandwich, apples and cucumber 20mins before my friend commented as we were

out for the day.

Could this be an indication of reactions to foodstuffs?

Many thanks for your help,

Regards,

Joe

Dear Joe,

How old is your son? How long has he walked " differently? " I wonder if it

would be worth asking for an Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy

evaluation...

Don't let the doctor tell you it's just because he's autistic (or PDD or

whatever)....It's like saying every side effect under the sun is normal when

a woman is pregnant. It's just not true. Some kids have problems quite

distinct from their autism (for my son it was PARASITES), and doctors need

to take symptoms seriously.

Yes, this has been reported before. Die-off or detox reaction. If it

was intolerance, it likely would have just persisted and gotten

worse. Glad to hear is was quick.
