L-Carnosine: severe problems

Dear Listmates,

Has anyone else had very bad problems with Carnosine? Here are the

particulars: day 1, 1/2 Kirkman capsule (100 mg.);

day 2, 100 mg;

day 3, 100 mg, now notice very dark circles under eyes;

day 4, 1 whole capsule (200 mg), again dark circles and some

agitation. Benedryl helped. Discontine carnosine.

Day 5, some agitation off and on, but mostly calm;

day 6, screeching, Pepcid AC helped;

day 7, screeching and biting; Pepcid AC calmed somewhat.

It's either the carnosine or some unknown infraction at school.

Carnosine can increase copper...

maybe your child is copper toxic already and

this sent him/her over the edge.

Carnosine gave my son energy at first (needed

it), then after about a week...trouble (some of his

autistic behaviors came back).
