Guest guest
>>>>> Someone mentioned amines? what are these and what should I do about them if I think they might be playing a part in my kids behavior (poor sleep, high histamines, moodiness)? , Here is a description (go to #4 under Food Sensitivities): http://www.enzymestuff.com/conditionsensitivities.htm#2 Then scroll down to the link on Histamine and Amine sensitivities. That link goes to a list of amine content in various foods. Many if not most all of the neurotransmitters are amines (serotonin, dopamine, norepiniphrine(sp))...and histamine is an amine involved with allergic reactions. Serotonin and melatonin are involved with sleep. Hopefully you can see how these start connecting as a chemical class of reactions. My family runs serotonin low and also have much problem with sleep and pain regulation. The medication we take helps all of those 'symptoms' by addressing some of the chemical class pathways. The enzymes help the rest of the way. .
