Guest guest
Heys My son has been on the Pep for 8 days and the ZP for 2 days. He was very hyper the first 3-4 days on the Pep, assertive and LOUD. It was like his mind was racing.. he was taking everything in. At around 5 days he has begin to calm down, is more easy-going and happy. It is my understanding that the Houston enzymes do a much better job of breaking down the protiens. If this is the case then what you may be seeing is a ..betterment of enzyme usage and thus more substained side-effects. Hope that helps. please someone correct me if I am wrong here. > > My son was taking kirkmans enzyme for about 2 months. Guest guest
I noticed some things too when my son first started enzymes...not only behaviors we worked so hard to discourage or eliminate but also things he had never done! It was quite unnerving but they passed in a few weeks. And it was totally worth the rough times! Enzyme therapy sure beats a GFCF diet! Hang in there! Because you are using AFP, do you also use SCD Zyme Prime? If not, try the SCD instead of the original Zyme Prime. It might be adjustment period, which does usually last about 3 weeks.
